Chamaine
(Equine Assisted Therapist)
On leaving school, Chamaine attended Duchy College, achieving an NVQ in Horse Care and Stud Management followed by a National Certificate in the Management of Horses.
Works along side mum Alyson with the day to day running of Collytown Shetland Stud especially enjoys taking care of mare & foals and training youngstock. Her passion for training equines has enabled her to share the wonderful experience and benefits of interacting with these wonderful animals with others.
Chamaine is also a Fully Qualified Equine Assisted Therapist and Certified Advanced Equine Facilitated Practitioner.
Alyson
(Equine Assisted Therapist)
Alyson founded Collytown Shetland Stud in 1997. She currently runs a heard of 80-100 miniature Shetland ponies, which include award winning stallions. Many of the ponies have been successfully shown at national level are exported worldwide.
Alyson accompanies Chamaine on all therapy pony visits (what a supportive mummy!!)
Alyson is also a Fully Qualified Equine Assisted Therapist and Certified Advanced Equine Facilitated Practitioner.
Karin
Pony Handler
Karin has been part of the Collytown, and subsequently the Therapy Pony team for many years. This has given her an understanding of all the Collytown Ponies. She owns her own riding horse O’Rielly and miniature Shetland mare Collytown Precious. Karin accompanies us when we attend larger events.
